Stockholm, Sweden 1 November 2016 – ETAL Group, world leaders in magnetic components for power and signal applications, today announced the opening of a second manufacturing site in Ratmalana, Sri Lanka. The site, which represents a substantial investment by the company, increases its worldwide manufacturing space by 50%.

The investment in a further manufacturing site is driven by growth across all our major markets. It allows us to offer a flexible and very competitive service whilst maintaining the high quality standards our customers expect.”

The new 2500 sq mt ETAL Group facility is located alongside the existing 2650 sq mt unit in Sri Lanka which has been operational since 2008. ETAL also has a 2400 sq mt site in Estonia. All three units have ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 certifications. Manufacturing capabilities in  Sri Lanka include manual and automatic fine wire winding (linear and toroidal), NC and manual soldering, assembly, vacuum encapsulation, ferrite core grinding and electrical verification to fully cover the manufacturing requirements of a wide range of standard and custom designed magnetic components and assemblies.
